			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>After a little more than three and an half hours I had left to use from my 20 € accommodation (luckily I met  that guy at the counter who told me that I can use the room until 9 am)  I had my included croissant breakfast to start a second Paris explorer tour, this time by daylight.  My first way was to the train station to check and book my trains for the next destination. That I wouldn&#8217;t get the same problems I had the day before. Trains booked, I found a nice little park next to the leading street to the centre where I could get another two hours of rest, I needed from the last night.</p>
<p>After that little sunny sleep on the park bench and another little brunch I started my City tour. Having a proper Tour de France ride on my bike along the Champs Elysées going a full round on the round about with the monument in the middle. Passing a demonstration on the way to the big (part time wild) park where a big funfair &#8220;La Fete&#8221; took place. Back to the city I found the best viewing point for the Eifel tower. With crossing the centre again and passing the Moulin Rouge Theatre, I hurried to see the sunset from the Basilika <strong>Sacré-Cœur. </strong>Arriving here just in time I got cached by one of these guys &#8220;Hey I will do you something good and create you an nice arm risk for charity&#8221; Also if he says payment don&#8217;t matters he wasn&#8217;t satisfied with my two Euro after he expected ten. Then up to the top, along the hundreds of steps. But it was worthy seeing the sunset over Paris and some other interesting artists. Shortly after the sky turned darker an additional procession got held at the entrance of this Church over the skyline of the city. Just before I had to hit back to my hostel meeting an international group to start the &#8220;White Night&#8221; of Paris.</p>
<p>Art, Music and Pictures until late night. Arround with a couple of new friends Julio, Daniel, Bruce, Zorka, Ivana, Lucia,Yo, Reo And some more I am really Sorry about to have forgotten your names. Internationality war given through the mix of French, Spanish, Bulgarian, Canadian, German, Argentinian, Californien and Japan presence. Cinemas with Shouting (Euphoria) or Kissing people were attracting our attention next to an Irish pub and an excursus to the Paris Metro. So we survived this one night out in the métropole.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Nach ein wenig mehr als drei ein halb Stunden Schlaf welche ich von meinen 20 € Übernachtung übrig hatte (glücklicherweise traf ich den Typen vom der Rezeption der mir erlaubte zumindest bis 9 bleiben durfte) startete ich meinen zweiten Tag in Paris mit dem Hotel Croissant. Zunächst führte mich mein Weg zur naheliegenden Zug Station um meine Tickets für zu meinem nächsten Ziel zu buchen. Welches ich mir aus meinem Fehler vom Vortag gemerkt hatte. Auf dem Weg zurück in die Stadt, streifte ich einen kleinen Park inmitten hoher Pariser Hausverläufen welcher mir Gelegenheit gab mich für eine kurze 2-stündige Rast auf einer sonnigen Bank niederzulassen.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[Es ist also Freitag mein erster Reisetag. Eine lange Nacht des Packens meines Rucksacks ließ mir letztlich etwa eine Stunde Schlaf und einige ungläubiger Blicke meines Zimmergenossen (obwohl ich bezweifle das er es überhaupt realisiert hat). <p><strong>Es ist also Freitag mein erster Reisetag.</strong></p>
<p>Eine lange Nacht des Packens meines Rucksacks ließ mir letztlich etwa eine Stunde Schlaf und einige ungläubiger Blicke meines Zimmergenossen (obwohl ich bezweifle das er es überhaupt realisiert hat). Ich musste zu etwa 8 Uhr aufstehen da ich mich um meine Platzreservierung für den Zug nach Paris(meiner ersten Station) zu kümmern hatte. Die Transportverbindung auf meiner Reise habe ich mich für ein 22 tägiges Interrail Ticket entschieden, was mich 475€ (da ich bereits über 26 bin) gekostet hat und mir die Möglichkeit geben sollte, die meisten Züge Europas sowie Reduzierungen bei Fähren nutzen zu können. Jedoch hast du im Gegenzug einige schnellere oder speziellere Züge zu reservieren (lag zwischen 3€ und 10€). Daher musste ich an diesem Morgen zeitig aufstehen da ich erst am Abend des Vortages mein Ticket erhalten habe und noch keinerlei Reservierung für Eurostar den ich nutzen wollte gebucht hatte. So rief ich guten Mutes morgens um 8 Uhr beim Eurostar an der mich zügig durch den Tunnel zum Eifelturm bringen sollte, mich jedoch direkt vor mein erstes Problem stellte. Manchmal ist die Anzahl der Plätze solcher reduzierten Fahrkarten für die einzelnen Zugverbindungen begrenzt, so in meinem Fall für alle Verbindungen an diesem Tage von London nach Paris. Die nächste Möglichkeit wäre am nächsten Tag gegen 12 Uhr gewesen und hätte mich ca. 4 Stunden später in Paris ankommen lassen. Was hätte genießen ich würde eineinhalb Tage meines Tickets und meiner Reise verlieren oder den Normalpreis von £170 für den Eurostar bezahlen.</p>
<p>Somit musste die erste Alternative gefunden werden! Wäre ja auch gelacht wenn der Eurostar die einzige Verbindung zwischen London und Paris gewesen sein sollte. So brachten mich  nun anstelle des Eurostars zwei normale Züge (Abfahrt um 11.53 in London Bridge) direkt nach Dover wo ich dann mit der Fähre nach Calais übersetzte. Auf diesem Weg lernte ich meinen ersten hilfreichen Kontakt kennen. Stefan aus der Schweiz (siehe Bilder weiter unten) der auch bereits von einigen Reisen erzählen konnte sich  jedoch zurzeit im Südosten Englands zur Verbesserung seiner Englischkenntnisse aufhält und gerade eine Freundin in Lille treffen wollte. Welch ein Glück für mich, denn er sprach fließend Französisch was mir in diesem Fall gut weiter half. Denn nach unserer Ankunft in Calais musste ich erfahren das sich für mich aus Calais das gleiche Problem wie aus London darstellen würde und die zweite Alternativensuche begann nunmehr zu halb 7 abends in Calais. Glücklicherweise halt mit jemanden Französischsprechendem an der Seite. Denn so erweiterte sich mein Weg nun um die Station Lille, von wo aus ich eine weitere Chance nutzen könnte vielleicht an diesem Tag noch nach Paris zu gelangen. Und es klappte! Doch zwischendurch könnte ich noch kurz testen wie es so ist ohne Französisch ein paar Würstchen in einer Imbissbude zu bestellen. Spaß!! <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  So Danke noch mal an Stefan das ich nicht irgendwo in Calais neben dem Bahnhof mein Zelt aufschlagen musste.</p>
<p>Nachdem ich Stefan verabschiedete, hatte ich eine weitere Stunde zu dem letzten Zug. Diese nutzte ich für einen kleinen Spaziergang in Lille und den ersten Anrufen nach Paris für eine Unterkunft. Mit dem Wissen das die meisten Hostels zwar ausgebucht waren doch wenn ich meiner Karte folgen würde weitere Infos bekommen könnte erreichte ich eine halbe Stunde vor Mitternacht Paris! Und das noch am selben Tag! (Tagesziel erreicht!!!) Weiterhin fand ich letztlich eine relativ günstige Unterkunft für 20€ inklusive Frühstück wenn ich spätestens bis 8Uhr aus dem Zimmer wäre. Passte schon, wollte ja die Stadt sehn!</p>
<p>Wo wir nun zum letzten Teil meines Ersten Tages kommen. Auf meinem Weg zum Hostel fand ich das wahrscheinlich beste Hilfsgerät für meinen Parisaufenthalt, ein unangeschlossenes Cityfahrrad. (zwar mit ein bisschen wenig Luft und eine kleine 8 im Hinterrad aber) Ideal um günstig, sportlich und freiem Blick an frischer Luft die Stadt zu erkunden. Nach Beendigung meines Eincheckens im Hostel und einiger Internetkorrespondenz (etwa 2 Uhr morgens) dachte ich an mein Ziel für diese Tag und eigentlich bestand es auch darin den Eifelturm zu sehen und ein Foto damit zu machen&#8230; . Also warum nicht ein Nachtfoto, wer weiß ob ich am nächsten Abend dazu kommen würde. So startete ich kurz entschlossen meine nächtliche Pariserkundungstour mit meinem neuen Fahrrad. Mein Weg führte mich entlang einigen künstlerischen Würfelinstallationen auf einer Brücke vorbei an den freudigen Aktivitäten einiger Ratten auf dem Vorplatz der Notre Dame Kathedrale zum Wendepunkt der Tour de France auf dem Stück der Champs Elysées. So stand ich nun da nach ca. eineinhalb Stunden und noch immer nichts vom meinem nächtlich erleuchteten Eifelturm zu sehen, als ich plötzlich einen unauffälligen jedoch ungewöhnlichen schwarzen Schatten über den Dächern der Stadt erkannte. &#8220;Das konnte doch wohl fast nicht Wahr sein, da haben die Franzosen nichts besseres zu tun als an dem Tag an dem ich das erste mal in meinem Leben dieses Paris besuche Ihren Stromspartag durch zu ziehen!!!&#8221; Aber wenn ich schon einmal so weit war dann wollt ich den Weg zumindest beendet haben. Was mir eine lustige Überraschung einbrachte. Nahezu angelangt an der schwarzen Schattenskulptur fielen mir einige Feuerwehrsirenen in der Nähe auf, was nun nicht unbedingt so ungewöhnlich für eine große Stadt wie Paris war. Jedoch fuhren die Einsatzwagen direkt zum vor mir liegenden Fuße des Eifelturms. Was mich nun doch schon etwas verwunderte, wer sollte denn mitten in der Nacht (inzwischen 3:30Uhr) dort ein Feuer entfacht haben? Ist doch eigentlich geschlossen. War er auch, doch haben sich einige findige Touristen trotz dessen auf einer der Außenleitern den auf den Weg zur ersten Plattform gemacht. So war die Feuerwehr dabei durch fachlich eingesetzte Rufe die mutmaßlichen Selbstmörder zum Umkehren zu animieren. Inzwischen war auch ein Teil der Beleuchtung reaktiviert und ich hatte mein Foto!!!</p>

<p>Nun konnte ich zufrieden meinen Heimweg antreten um mich wohl verdient schlafen zu legen.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"><strong>It is Friday my first travelling day: </strong></p>
<p style="text-align:left;">A long night of packing brought me at least approximately one hour proper sleep and a lot of bad looks from my room made (I am not sure yet if he really recognised me during the night or if this looks were just an sleeping reaction). But anyway, I had to wake up early because I haven&#8217;t booked any tickets for the Eurostar to Paris (my first destination). I used an Interrail ticket what should bring me around Europe in 22 days for 475,- € (because I am over 26). The good thing on it you can use it for the most of the trains in Europe and some ferries but for some of the faster or more special once you need to do a reservation. That is the reason I had to call to check for a reservation, what brought me prompt to my first Problem. Sometimes the amount of reduced tickets for a journey are limited, so happen for all the connections from London to Paris at this day. The next possibility would have been on the next day around 12pm arriving 4 hours later. What means I would have lost my first one and a half day or paid £170 for travelling that day with the Eurostar.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">So the first improvisation was required. Instead of the Eurostar now I used two trains (starting at 11.53am in London Bridge) those brought me to Dover where I took the ferry to Calais. On that way I met my first helpful contact on my trip. Stefan from Switzerland (see pictures below) who was actually also a traveller (he was travelling a lot in the past) who is just placed in a small town in the South East of England at this moment to improve his English for a couple of month. Luckily he was just on the run going to visit a friend of him who lived in Lille and he was fluent in French too, what helped a lot finding that there weren&#8217;t got any connections to Paris for my reducer ticked for the rest of the day. The earliest train I I could have used without paying would have been on the next day around 12.40pm (and I guess it would have been the Eurostar again). So another alternative was required. It was nearly 6.30pm. With a little quiz to the train service assistant we found there will be another two trains from Lille and an earlier connection to Lille with just one change between. So we started after my first experience in ordering some sausages without any clue of French.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">In Lille I said good bye to Stefan after booking the second train to Paris what let me arrive there at half past eleven still on that Friday! (so I reached my daily aim for my first stop) I had some time in Lille to check out some sleeping possibilities, which were often totally booked out but I had a little clue where to go to get some more  advice. What brought me a relative cheap first accommodation right in the centre of Paris with 20€ included breakfast if I am out of the room until 8am.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">Another really helpful gadget for my Paris stay poped up as I found one of this Citybikes unlooked on my way to the Hostel, which I took with me. Because after checking inn and doing some stuff at the internet I thought about my planned aim for that day and actually it meant seeing the Eifel Tower and doing a picture. So why not using the chance and having a night picture? I started at 2am to explore Paris by night with my new bike looking for the Eifel Tower. Passing by to some Cube Art on a bridge alongside some Rats in front of the Cathedral Notre Dame  de Paris to parts of the Champs Elysées. After a little more than an hour I start wondering that I still couldn&#8217;t see the lighted up Tower until I recognised a really black needle over the top of the skyline roofs. And I was nearly upset that they just choose the night I have been in Paris as the energy saving day! But I have been so far so I had to do the rest as well. What brought me a funny surprise. Nearly arrived at this dark sculpture I recognised some fire worker trucks in the area not really special for a big city like Paris but those ones went directly to the bottom of the tower what made me a little wondering because it was 3.30am in the morning, the tower was closed and nobody would be on it to have lighted up a fire&#8230; but there were some people on it, climbing the outer stairs to the first platform. They seems like random tourists but the fire worker might avoid some suicide candidates. So the Eifel tower was lighted up for me and I did my picture!</p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><em><strong>I got it!!!</strong></em></p>
<p style="text-align:left;">Now I could, satisfied about it, start my way home to have my well earned sleep.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Wie soll ich einen Blog wie dieses am Besten beginnen, so mal es mein erster überhaupt ist?! Aber ich denke, dass dieser einen ausreichend interessanten Zweck erfüllen wird.</p>
<p>Es geht also um meine Reise über ungefähr 10158 km durch 7 unserer europäischen Länder über einen Zeitraum von 26 Tagen um Freunde zu besuchen die ich hauptsächlich durch meinen Aufenthalt seit beginn dieses Jahres hier in London kennen gelernt habe.</p>
<p>Also fange ich zunächst mit meinen eigentlichen Gründen an:</p>
<p>Die grundsätzliche Idee des in der Welt Rumreisens begleitet mich schon für einen langen Zeitraum, und umso mehr mit jedem neuen Kontakt den ich in der Zeit meinem Aufenthaltes hier im internationalen London kennenlernte. Bei welchen nicht gerade wenige dabei waren die ich gern in der Zukunft besucht haben wollte, da ich viele Verbindungen in Länder  knüpfte in denen ich zuvor noch nicht gewesen bin.</p>
<p>Dieses schuf bereits einen großen Teil des sprichwörtlichen I`s.</p>
<p>Den I-Punkt gab wider alle Erwartungen ein nettes Mädchen welches ich letztlich zu lange hab warten lassen durch mein  deutsches geradeaus sicherheitsfanatisches Bedürfnis unbedingt alles Arbeitstechnische für danach unbedingt im Vorfeld bereits sichergestellt zu haben.</p>
<p>Aber das ist eine andere Geschichte&#8230;</p>
<p>So begann ich in der Nacht des 9. Septembers mit meinen in Europa verstreuten Freunden in Kontakt zu treten und nach Ihren Verfügbarkeiten für einen Kurzbesuch im Oktober zu fragen. Weiterhin fertigte ich meine ersten Pläne über Entscheidungs- und Bestellfristen sowie eine erste Zwischenstationsplanung an, die ich nachhaltig kaum noch ändern musste. Dann ließ ich es zunächst zwei weitere Wochen ruhen in denen ich auf weitere Antworten und mögliche Jobmöglichkeiten zu warten, die die Reisepläne aufgeschoben hätten. Bis zu dem Tag, dem 25. September, an dem ich mein Interrail Ticket bestellte um fristgerecht zum 2. Oktober starten könnte.</p>
<p>Von dort an ging es in die heiße Phase und meine Tagespläne schienen fast randvoll durch einen noch ausstehenden Umzug, einigen letzten Interviews und zuletzt Aufgrund noch fehlender Pakete unter Anderem meinem Ticket. Aber letztlich war alles zum 1. Oktober zusammengetragen. Somit blieb noch ein kleines Stück Zeit bei einer kleinen künstlerischen Zusammenkunft meinen Londoner Leuten &#8220;Good Bye&#8221; zu sagen bevor ich meine Nacht Packen begann.</p>
<p>Soviel zu den Hintergründen und meiner Vorbereitung zu dieser spannenden Reise.</p>

<p>It is about my Trip over approximately 10158 km through 7 European Countries in 26 days to visit friends I met mainly during my stay here in London.</p>
<p>So let&#8217;s start with the proper reason:</p>
<p>The idea to travel and see the world a bit has been in my mind for a long time, once more with each new contact I met during my stay here in London since the beginning of the year. And there were a lot of them I really wanted to visit in future because the most of them were located in countries I haven&#8217;t been before.</p>
<p>That created the main feeling that I wanted to travel.</p>
<p>And, Yes the decision at least has been a girl with which I messed up because of my straight German need of having secure opportunities for future.</p>
<p>But that is an other story&#8230;</p>
<p>So I spent my first night at the 9th of September asking all my friends around Europe if they might be available for a visit in October and created a first kind of deadline schedule and a way point schedule which I just changed slightly since then. Furthermore I let it run for another two weeks to maybe get some open responds what could have had cut the idea. So I ordered my Interrail ticket on the 25th of September where my deadline finished for ordering the ticket to start the trip properly on the 2dn of October.</p>
<p>From then my time became quite busy. I had to move, I had some interviews and at least some packages I ordered weren&#8217;t arrived yet (also my tickets were missing). But at least I had managed having everything together at the 1st of October. So there was just some more time having a kind of saying goodbye celebration with my London Gang to start a night of packing afterwards.</p>
<p>That much from the preparation and the reason to start an exciting Trip.</p>
